I have loved this series from book one, but this one takes the cake. I love Hack aka Noah and Pru so much! The chemistry and connection between these two is off the charts. I was hooked from the first page.Hack lost the love of his life, and his club sends him away to find himself. He never expects to meet Pru, but when duty calls he leaves her behind. Pru vowed to never make the same mistakes as her mother, but Hack is different and she knows it. But when he leaves it broke her completely and now she has to pick her head up and raise their daughter. What happens when Hack realizes he made the biggest mistake of his life? Will Pru open her heart or will their love be lost forever?
I seriously wanted to knock Hack out a few times, but at the same time I understood where he was coming from. Pru is such a strong woman and always held her head up high. I loved it when these two where together… just pure perfection. Emily and Shelley know how to make me laugh, cry, and swoon and I can’t wait to see what these two bring next.

Pru and Hack were such a great couple. Their story starts off with them already dating for a few months. Hack had hit the road after his wife was put in a coma from a car accident he had to take her off life support. He was destroyed. When he goes off to clear his head on the road he meets Pru a waitress at a diner. They hit it off immediately and it's not long before Hack moves in with Pru.
But it seems most of their life is about the sexual connection. Pru has opened herself up to Hack told him about her life, her terrible mother, and childhood, and her hopes for the future. While he shares minimal information about himself. That's okay because Pru cares for him enough to be patient. Until one day he walks away and leaves her confused and heartbroken. She tries to reach him and he ignores her. I felt so bad for Pru and then in one final attempt to get him to listen to her she tells him the news she didn't want to have to say over a text they have a daughter. Of course, this news has Hack rethinking his decision. He left Pru because he didn't think he deserved her and his feeling for her scared the heck out of him. Thankfully Pru is no doormat, she makes him work for her love.
Pru had a hard life she always took care of herself, when Hack comes along and tries to take over it is an adjustment for her but one she takes in stride. I liked how Hack and Pru had to build a trust with each other, he opens up to her and she tells him more about herself and shares her feelings of heartbreak after he left her. He shares what happened to his wife and why he felt he had to leave her. Of course, the Grim Bastards can't have a book without some drama with a capital D. The Grim Bastards are still dealing with the aftermath of Smoke and Clutch's treachery. In a big twist in the story, some of that falls back on Pru's past her crazy drunk of a mother and who her father is, great stuff there.
I adored this story and this series was really a great read. The friendship that the brothers' share was so authentic. The old ladies well I wanted to be part of that little cliche for sure. Glad I banged out the last three bookings in 3 days. I hope to read more about these guys and girls in the future.
I have read all of the books in this series. I have really enjoyed all of the characters in this series. I can't wait for the next book in this series. I highly recommend this series.

This is a wonderful book. I loved reading more about the Grim Bastards MC. It was good reading about Hack and Pru.
What can I say I loved this series so much. Hack and Pru story is sweet but with bittersweet as well. Loving and losing brings more than you can think. This is an amazing series I would highly recommend to others as a must read. I can't wait to see if there is more to this series.
LOVED IT!!!! I think this was my favorite of the series which is crazy because I loved all the books. I referred to a couple of my friends and they fell in love with the series as well. I was sorry to see this series coming to an end.
I really loved and enjoyed this book. Really a great series that has kept me hooked with each and every story. I think Hack and Pru were my favorite. I really loved the characters and there story. Can't wait to read more.
Absolutely loved this series, Wicked Bastard is Hack's and Pru's story. Hack has not been the same since his wife died, Boz order him to take off and get his head back on straight. Hack can finally breathe again when he meets the beautiful Pru. He stayed with her for a few months but then he suddenly leaves because his club needs him. She tried to reach him for months, but he never returned any calls or texts, when he finally found the courage to listen to what she has to say, he realizes he has a daughter. All bets are off, he will beg forgiveness from the one woman that can help him breathe and feel peace. He will stop at nothing to make Pru his old lady and wife. So if you haven't read Wicked Bastard I highly recommend this story. Happy Reading!!
